James began his career as a criminal defense attorney and has represented hundreds of clients facing all levels of charges over the years. He successfully maintained a solo practice before moving on to a boutique criminal defense firm and was later a partner at another successful criminal defense firm before partnering with Patrick.

Patrick began his career as a prosecutor, cutting his teeth in trials in the misdemeanor courts before advancing to the role of felony prosecutor. Patrick then joined a boutique criminal defense firm where he honed his skills in defending all types of cases, with a particular emphasis on defending those accused of crimes against children.

Next, Patrick had a brief stint in the insurance defense world, defending clients against wrongful death, major losses, and severe bodily dismemberment cases. Patrick left the civil world to rejoin the criminal defense world to partner with James.
